March 9th- 16th in Kauai, Hawaii first glimpse from the Airplane on Saturday Sunday and views Pu’u o Kila and the Na Pali coast. The drive along 552 the Koke’e road was beautiful and green with spectacular views. We drove out to the end of the road to find mist, clouds and rainbows. A couple were at the point near us hiking in the mud when he stopped, got to one knee and proposed. They were a cute couple from Boston, far from home. I got a few photos of them. It was neat to share their special moment in time.
The Grand Canyon of the Pacific is 10 miles long and 3000 ft deep in areas. You get there on state road 550/552.
