I was able to tag along last week with Steve who had a convention with his company Genesys. My sister Johna and her granddaughter Claire drove up from NC to hang out with me. We had a lot of fun wandering around the city and the museums. It was my first trip to DC. I had been wanting to visit the museums for most of my life. I loved the Art Museums best and Steve the Air and Space.
I loved how the plane was flying behind the Monument. Steve reflected along with the Memorial in the Vietnam Veterans Wall. The Lincoln was the main memorial I wanted to see. It was as impressive as I thought it would be. There were a lot of loud people taking pictures. I guess I was hoping for more reverence and less Disney.
